� Weight loss due to any digestive order

� Nephrotic syndrome

� Impairment of Renal function

� Hereditary telangiectasia

� Polycythemia vera (with splenomegaly, thrombocytosis, erythrocytosis, or andleukocytosis)

� Chronic heart failure

� Symptomatic congenital heart disease

� Heart transplant

� Recurrent arrhythmias

� Ischemic heart disease
� Chronic venous insufficiency

� Peripheral arterial disease

� Aneurysm of aorta or major branches

� Short bowel syndrome or SBS

� Chronic liver disease

� Soft tissue injury (e.g., burns)

� Fracture of an upper extremity

� Fracture of the tibia, pelvis, femur, or one of more of the tarsal bones

� Amputation

� Surgical arthrodesis or reconstructive surgery of a major weight-bearing joint

� Disorders of the spine (such as spinal arachnoiditis, osteoarthritis, herniated nucleus pulposus, vertebral fracture, degenaritive disc disease, facet arthritis, spinal stenosis)
