Generate Traffic In 3 Ways

Invitation printing is not only for personal use to announce a special occasion or an event in ones life. Print invitations can also become great tools in marketing your business. This is especially true when you have a trade show or exhibit coming up.

And just like any other marketing tool, your print invitations can also drive traffic to your business. There are three ways you can generate leads with your invitation printing:

Its all in the mailing list.

The recipients of your print invitations depend on the right mailing list you employ for your marketing campaign. People will definitely come to your special event when you distribute to the right target clients. Your mailing list then is crucial when you want to target the right market.

You can start your list from the most obvious and available people--those you know. They can be your relatives, family members, business associates, co-workers, former classmates, your next-door neighbor, your plumber, accountant, and even your lawyer. You can always depend on these people to come to your event just because they know you and what youre capable of.

From there, you can start your next level list from their referrals. Remember to narrow down your mailing list to include those who are not only interested in what you have to offer, but most importantly, those who have the reputation to act on their interests. In other words, people who actually buy.

Whats your purpose?

Why are you mailing your print invitations? For one thing, because you have an event. Second, because you want to get target clients to know about your business. Nevertheless, you need to remind yourself that invitation printing is just that--for inviting people to come to your event. Its not collateral to close a sale. So avoid putting a sales pitch in there. You have plenty of time anyway to do it during the trade show. Use your invitations wisely and attract your target clients to see you in your exhibit.

Your most important element--your message.

The bottom line of your invitation printing is your message. You need to convey your idea thats why you have the invitations sent out in the first place. You have to make sure then that your target clients understand your message, and what you would want them to do after receiving your invitation.

Include the benefits even if its just an invitation. Add surprises and freebies to get them to attend your trade show. When they see that theres something for them when they attend, more than likely that theyll be zeroing in your booth the moment they arrive at the venue.

Just three simple ways and youre on your way to getting target clients interested in your event. The next step then is to engage them with the details of your business. But thats another story.
