Are You Looking For Cell Phone Forums Online?

In the United States alone, well over 7 million people own a cell phone, so it's no wonder there are so many forums online that are specifically designed to help benefit the average owner. These forums are unlike other forums in that they speak directly to the owner giving he or she features, and these features are more than JUST a forum they also allow you to do other things than to talk to fellow owners. For example, I have a Nokia, so I was searching around online for a nice forum that would give me some cool stuff as well as tips and tricks about my phone. I found one site in particular that was incredibly useful that included all kinds of extras such as:

Tutorials - Tips and tricks. Instructional How-Tos posted by users. These tips and tricks include things like; how to connect via bluetooth, installation procedures, converting movies, and how to back up MMCs (multi-media card).

Reviews - Obviously this is pretty self explanatory. You can view different reviews found on different cell phone manufactures such as Nokia, Motorola, LG, Samsung, Sanyo, etc. Reviews are a nice addition to any website, cell phones or not because they allow you to see which products are the best, optional features, benefits, prices, where to buy, and so on.

Phones - This section of the forum allows you to view buying guides, best cell phones, and new cell phones. This would be a great way to stay in the loop and if you're a huge gadget freak, it would allow you to have the best of the best on all the new versions coming out. For example, right now I'm looking at the Nokia N96, it gives you a nice little description, along with features and release date. I also found a comparison guide which is great if there are a few phones you think you might be interested in but you want to take a look at them side by side and see which one would be the best for you!

Carriers - Another nifty options you can view cell reception within a certain area by doing a tower search, coverage area, dead spots, etc. This is a nice tool to use before you actually buy a cell phone. I'm sure all of us have bought a phone at least once in our lifetime that had horrible reception but you already signed up for the carrier and they might charge a fee if you cancel. In this case, you no longer have to take chances on if a phone has good reception or not. Simply enter in your zip code or city and state and it will tell give you a list of certain carriers along with a rating and a few comments about the reception.

Downloads - This section is all about the ring tones! Back in the day when you owned a cell phone the only ring you got was the plain old rinnng rinnnng or beep beep. However, now with new technology and new innovators you can easily download songs on to your cell phone. These are REAL songs not jingles; Pink - So What, Akon - Right Now, Katy Perry - Hot N Cold! Of course you have to pay a fee but that is with ANY site/forum. With some websites you may have to pay a fee but there are exceptions to the rule

Shop - Get the best prices on cell phones - frequently with cash back (with rebates) plus free shipping. Search and compare phones to decide which one best accommodates your needs and lifestyle. And when you've made your choice, your brand new phone will be delivered to your doorstep, fully activated and ready to use. Brands include everything under the sun; HTC, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Palm, Pantech, RIM, Samsung, Sanyo, Sony, etc.

Really, if you are a cell phone user or your thinking about getting a cell phone, why would you want to use a forum like this? It could seriously save you a lot of time and money! About a year ago I bought a cell phone online at one of the more expensive stores, thinking that it would be the best for my needs. Little did I know the reception sucked and the phone really wasn't the best type of phone in it's league.

Needless to say I got a new phone from a different company and returned the old one, but I did have to pay a late fee, and it wasn't a small fee either. In the end I could have just as easily visited a forum such as this and found out best carriers, best cell phone reception, reviews on the best phones and more! Be a little smarter than me next time. Manufactures will say anything to 'sell' you even if it includes a few small white lies. Save some time and some money, and visit sites such as these the next time your looking for a cell phone!
