Trasylol Legal Case Gains Steam

The Trasylol Legal Case has been headlining the news and Television programs for over a year now. The Trasylol recall of 2007 brought to public what was one of the most shocking and devastating revelations in the recent decade. Trasylol, manufactured by Bayer Pharmaceuticals, was found out to cause kidney failure resulting in death. Trasylol was on the market for over fourteen years before the negative side effects were found to be true. However, in 2005 Bayer conducted their own study about Trasylol but decided to hide the results. Because of these unethical decision-makings by Bayer, 20,000 people a month died due to kidney failure while Bayer willingly knew what was going on. After the negative side effects were finally revealed and Trasylol was recalled, Trasylol legal cases began.

People, who had taken Trasylol years and years before it was actually recalled, were now beginning to make sense out of the whole ordeal. Families who had lost loved ones due to kidney failure after a heart bypass surgery were now putting two and two together and realizing that Trasylol was the thing that took their family members. Trasylol legal cases were popping up all over the place and rightfully so. In order for people to make sense of it all, Trasylol lawyers spoke to groups of people who had lost a family member due to the circumstances of taking Trasylol. They explained that a Trasylol legal case would allow them to recover monies for medical expenses that were incurred as well as for pain and suffering.

Another important factor in this case is the fact that Trasylol sold for $1000 per dose compared to other drugs that sold for $50 per dose. Both drugs were comparable in use, so one might wonder why Trasylol cost so much more money than other comparable drugs. You cant help but think that not only was Bayer profiting from Trasylol but medical institutions & hospitals alike were as well. You might wonder if the hospitals were wondering as well why Trasylol was so much more expensive than other comparable drugs as well. Now its despite the point, but all of these unethical decisions add up to one big decision of Bayer deciding not to tell the FDA for two years about the negative effects that Trasylol has on those who administered the drug.

Trasylol legal cases are gaining steam today as settlements are being awarded and Bayer is realizing to the effect of what they have done. If Trasylol has directly affected you or a loved one, please do not hesitate and contact a lawyer. New Trasylol legal cases are being filed everyday, so it is in no way too late to file one for you or on behalf of a deceased loved on. Dont let another large pharmaceutical company take over your life and over your rights. Contact a lawyer today, and file your Trasylol legal case to be able to cover the expenses incurred from being administered Trasylol.
