Landing a top Google ranking is not so difficult to achieve--depending on the key terms you are {targeting|. Below you will find a few guidelines geared towards assisting you start on your way to dominating your target market.

1. Create Relevant Page Titles

To get a prominent ranking in Google, the Web Page Title is definitely the single most important on-page Search Engine Optimization strategy. 5. Seek Links to Your Web Page

After you have the web page written and targeted for your key terms and keywords, it's essential to get webpages and directories linking to it. You can accomplish this in many ways. Be sure to have a place on your website that allows visitors to easily bookmark and share your site with others. Encourage visitors to submit your website to social bookmarking sites link Google bookmarks, Delicious, StumbleUpon and Reddit. Additionally, create articles in your field and submit them to several article directories and link back to your site in the author box--just as you see here in this article.

6. Create a Blog

An ideal way to gain web traffic and more attention from Google and other search engines is to create and update weekly a blog. The blog should contain posts that are related to your field. Ideally, you should post a new article a couple times a week.
