Competitive Brochures

These days you need competitive brochure printing strategies to get a one up over your competition. It is not just about better products, and better services. Businesses also need to easily communicate these services well along with a trustworthy image. Color brochure printing is one of the tools you can use to achieve this.

In designing your competitive brochure there are a few things you must first gather information on. First, you need to look at your competition. Acquire a collection of your rivals brochures. Look at how each is designed. Notice the images that they use and how certain products are phrased. Understand the approach they are taking in appealing to the customer. Once you have taken all this in, you should have some idea of how to differentiate yourself from this approach. You should distinguish yourself as different from them, hopefully offering a better alternative.

If they offer cheesy tag lines, try offering clear and concise information. If they are practical and cold, try writing a warmer and friendlier content. If they are using every color of the rainbow in their brochure, try and use a simple and elegant color. The key here is to stand out and offer a better alternative.

Of course, having said that, dont be eclectic. Come up with a solid theme that best represents your purposes. Focus on what your rivals dont have. Your bank may have the lowest interest rates for loans, or the fastest service in the west. Ride those advantages and mention that other firms dont have such things. (which should be true) Support these arguments with testimony, and compliment them with colorful graphs or diagrams. Basically emphasize a major coherent strength that others dont have.

Have this strength appear in the design of your full color brochures. Use images and clip arts that symbolize this strength. Avoid using brochure templates. Try thinking outside the box and change the shape and paper material of the brochure to match the symbolism that you want to convey. Using the bank example, if you have the fastest banking service for loans, why not have a lightning shaped full color printing of your brochure?

The bottom line here is to distinguish your brochures from everybody elses. They should look different and give a different and more powerful message. Always try to plan a distinguishable brochure printing strategy to be competitive. Those special brochures may cost a bit more when brought to the brochure printing company, but they will pay off in increased exposure for your products and services.
