Know Your Clients From Your Catalogs

Do you know your clients? Do you know what keeps them happy or sad, excited or wary? Do you know what they need? Knowing your target client is just as important as coming up with catalog printing that attracts their attention. Your target clients are one of the most important factors that should be considered when creating your print catalog.

So have you been acquainted with your target clients lately? If not, then here are ways to help you gather information on your target clients using your print catalog.

When you make a sale-

You can get your clients� information right away during a sale from your catalog printing. This is the easiest way possible. Ask them to fill up a form where their name and zip code can be identified. When done, you can easily input both information to your computer for easy mapping of your clients� address.

When registering for a freebie-

You can get information from your clients when you have a freebie or a prize that they could win if they register. Just include a registration slip or a cut-out page in your print catalog so they could easily rip it out to bring to your store. That way, your target clients can get acquainted with how you operate your business during their visit to your shop. And don�t forget to have a prize or a freebie that has value to your clients. It doesn�t have to be expensive, so long as it attracts your readers, enough to make them want to register.

You can also provide a drop box where your readers can put their filled up forms. Just include instructions in your catalog printing as to where your drop boxes are located. A word of advice- make sure you create a well designed drop box, as well as a durable one. Since you won�t be able to regularly check on it, you might as well be sure that you still have your forms when it�s time for you to collect them.

When you include inserts-

An insert which includes a prize when they fill it up would also get you the information you need about your target clients. The insert will look like a pseudo-page of your print catalog which they can also return to your shop when they finish filling up your registration form.

By providing ways for your catalog printing to get information from your target clients, you can create a profile that you could use to create a marketing campaign that is custom-made for them. That way, you can develop a better relationship with them based on mutual respect and trust.
